2686 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815
3 flat miles around park and zoo, easy conversational
Start HURT100 week with an easy Shake-out Run social through beautiful Waikīkī. This relaxed out-and-back is all about loosening the legs, breathing in the ocean air, and settling into race-weekend vibes with your fellow runners and local HURT community. No pressure. Just good company and aloha energy. Hat giveaways from Outside Rocks! Family and friends are welcome.
Mahalo Melanie Decker Koehl for leading this event!
Pre-Race Briefing
Friday, January 16
The HURT runner bag pickup and pre-race briefing is at Ke’ehi Lagoon Memorial. See the information and map below. On Friday morning, just follow the signs, hoping they don’t lead you astray into the land of lost runners. You’ll be able to meet with old and new friends, all with expressions of nervous determination, sharing stories of how they ended up entered to run in our rainforest. Following runner bag pickup, we’ll have the pre-race briefing with all the indispensable info needed for race day.

Runner Tracking
Race Start: Saturday, January 17, 6am, Hawaii Nature Center in Makiki
We have provided various ways of following your runners online after the race starts. Select the different options below.
GPS Live Tracking
Live tracking this year is provided by Adventure Enablers. A small GPS tracker is carried by participants and their location is updated on a live map. Due to remote course, some data may be delayed. Clicking on a runner will show the time of last received update. This is not used for race timing.
Race Timing – Webscorer
Real-time tracking of Aid Station check-ins using the Webscorer platform. Typically updated near real-time. See description of Webscorer interface here.
Race Timing – Google Sheet
Google Sheet with different (hopefully more user friendly) format of Webscorer timing data, including aid station times, full-loop and lap times, and race position by aid station – separate tabs sort this data by race position or bib number. Updated every few minutes.
Finish Line Live Streaming
We will livestream the finish line on Sunday, January 18, at approx. 3:00 am HST via YouTube. Please subscribe to our YouTube channel first in order to watch the stream.
