Aloha all!
Our final trail kokua day is on Sunday, 12/30. Please meet at 7:30am in the Nature Center picnic area (bathrooms). Be advised that parking is limited up along the access road between the residential homes and the Na Ala Hele (NAH) base yard. While NAH will provide tools for us to use, please feel free to bring your own personal favorite implement.
We will carpool up to the Kalawahine trail head to widen as well as to clear overgrown vegetation along select areas of the trail. The plan is to work until 12:30pm, returning to the Nature Center by 1pm.
Weather and trail conditions are variable this time of year so plan to wear appropriate clothing that will provide adequate comfort and protection. Pants, long sleeves & closed toe shoes are highly recommended. Please also bring your own supply of water to drink. At least 2 liters are recommended. Feel free to also bring some snacks.
