Folks,
We are less than 30 days from the application going live for the 2012 running of the H.U.R.T. 100. Several changes are being made to this year's event. Most noticeably you will find an updated and edited race booklet courtesy of AJ Tauber and Harald Ebeling which will soon be posted on this site. You will want to read the booklet in it's entirety before committing to the race. Many of the sections have been streamlined and the rules section revamped.
Similar to last year we will be employing the services of Mark Gilligan as our race registrar at www.ultrasignup.com to make for a smooth and easy application / lottery process.
As an added bonus we will be selling post race (January 16,2012) banquet tickets when you register on line for the race, making your one stop shopping much easier.
We are still contemplating a live lottery selection party at the Huff residence (August 14,2011) as we select the entrants for the 2012 event. We aren't certain if it is something the local runners would want to participate in. If you think its a good idea please feel free to comment to this post and we will gauge your interest that way.
Be sure to check back at this in mid July as the information will be coming fast and furious.
