The 2026 HURT100 was a phenomenal success. We had cool temperatures, fantastic trail conditions, engaged and energized runners and crews, and an incredible support system from over 300 volunteers. We applaud everyone who made it to the bridge at Makiki on Saturday morning and went on to forge their own special HURT journey on the Honolulu Mauka Trail System. We have scheduled three trail work days on the Tantalus Trail System. December 15 & 21 and January 11. If you are applying for the HURT100 2026, this will count towards your trail work requirement. Read on for more information.
This year’s banquet will be held at the Ke’ehi Lagoon Memorial, Harry & Jeannette Weinberg Building, not far from the Honolulu International Airport (easy access for those on the Monday night redeye). Ticket sales open November 21, at hurt100.com. There is a limit of 10 tickets per buyer.
John Medinger from Western States 100 informed us that the 2025 HURT 100 has been selected as a qualifying race for the 2026 Western States 100.
